Code of ethics

ClickDirect is committed, in the strongest terms, to conducting our business within a framework of honesty and integrity, and to practicing good corporate governance in all our internal and external dealings.

As no formal codes of conduct or ethics have yet reached maturity and recognition in our industry, we have taken the best elements of codes we have been exposed to, combined with our current internal practices, and developed the ClickDirect Code of Ethical Practice (CCEP).

All our staff members are required to sign, as part of their terms and conditions of employment, our internal Code of Ethical Practice, which binds them to the practices and principles contained therein.

The core elements of our Code of Ethical Practice are presented below:

ClickDirect Code of Ethical Practice (CCEP)

2.  We will not try to benefit commercially in any way from such information.
3.  We will respect the intellectual property rights of all individuals and organisations that we come into contact with during the course of our activities and will not in any way infringe on such rights.
4.  We will only provide services in areas in which we deem ourselves to be competent and thus protect our clients from inferior service levels and the potential negative results on their organisations.
5.  We will inform our clients, associates and any other third parties of any risks, threats and dangers with regard to their electronic commerce environments that we become aware of that might in any way threaten their organisations.
6.  We will not knowingly utilise any software, system or process, which has been obtained in an illegal manner, either directly or indirectly.
7.  We will not intentionally be involved in any action or activity, or use technologies or practices, which directly or indirectly cause harm to a client, or jeopardises in any way, the integrity of a client site.
8.  We will do whatever we can to avoid conflicts of interest, and where we cannot, we will disclose the situation to the relevant parties and ensure that we conduct our activities in such a manner as to ensure that we do not let one party benefit at the expense of another.
